Spotify Beta Version Released with Native M1 Mac Support

Thursday Update from Spotify: Finally, Swedish audio streaming giant Spotify launched a native beta version of the desktop app for M1 Macs. It is the new generation of Macs (new CPU from apple). And this beta version of Spotify supports the new generation Mac hardware that bases on Apple Silicon support. Just eight months ago, Apple launched M1 silicon for their own Mac that provides massive inspiration for doing this.

Status update

According to the official site of Spotify, they said that they have been working hard for so long and finally able to share their happiness with us. According to the Apple company, the Mac app is still under development. Spotify has to launch the beta version of this app which they are still working on for compatibility improvements and optimizations of new Apple features.

It is a Beta version of the app to face some unexpected activity, so give them honest feedback to improve their performance to the ultimate experience. As it is a beta version, it is not working as much as you expect from it.

Many Spotify users are requested to include M1 support in their features, so we can see that they prioritize their user feedback very well. So you need to share your experience with them, either positive or negative.

This beta version featured compatibility, development for the M1 chip, enhancement of the app performance running on the Apple devices.

They just announced that they would provide lots of new things soon in their original app, but they don’t give the feature list or release date of the original app.

You can download the beta version from the official site of Spotify.
